About greening the government with ICT
Logius (formerly GBO.Overheid) aims at sustainable innovation. As the administrator of generic products for the electronic government, Logius is a major user of ICT. Given the environmental impact of ICT , we feel we must play a part in increasing sustainability, for our organization, our products and the chains within which we operate. We want to do that together with our customers, suppliers and other partners. Logius wants to put its partners in a position to generate concrete ideas, to gain inspiration and to share knowledge with each other.

The hot tap is always on the left
"The joint management organization known as GBO.Overheid is behind the cohesive management and continuing development of the joint ICT infrastructure of service providers performing a public task". This is how the management team worded the organization's mission when GBO.Overheid (the Dutch government organization for ICT implementation) came off the starting blocks in the course of 2006. A nice phrase, but what does it mean? Where does it fit in? What does GBO.Overheid do and why does it do what it does? And: where are we heading for with GBO.Overheid?
